Getting a cancer diagnosis is very stressful and may temporarily rob patients and their families of their joy.


Studies show (see references) that spending time in the woods lowers blood pressure, cognitive fatigue and stress.  It can even reduce depression and anxiety and may even increase the activity of immune-boosting cells.


We encourage our guests to unplug, slow down and become immersed in the serene Adirondack mountains.
